Support

Help with Stackheim on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. Stackheim is made by Pixelheim, a small studio in Norway — a person reads every message, so write in your own words rather than filling in a form.

01Email us

hello@stackheim.com

We answer within two business days, usually sooner. Norwegian and English both work.

There is no phone line and no live chat. Email is the whole support channel, and it reaches the people who write the app.

02What to tell us

Anything is better than nothing, but these four turn a guess into a fix:

  • Your device and OS version — “iPhone 15, iOS 18.4”, “Pixel 8, Android 15”, or the browser you were using.
  • The app version — the last line of the Settings tab reads v1.2.3 · hello@stackheim.com. Tap it to copy the address.
  • What you did, and what happened instead — the screen you were on and the step that went wrong.
  • The email address on your account, if the problem is about signing in, Pro, or your data.

A screenshot is worth all four.

03Questions we get

The sign-in email never arrived.

Stackheim signs you in with a link and a code sent from mail@stackheim.com. Check your spam folder first — that is where it usually is. The code expires, so if the mail is old, ask for a new one. If nothing arrives at all, email us from the address you are trying to use and we will look it up.

I have Pro, but a feature is still locked.

Pro belongs to your Stackheim account, not to one device — the web app and the mobile app read the same subscription. Check you are signed in with the same email in both. If you bought Pro inside the mobile app, open the upgrade screen and tap Restore purchases. Still locked after that, email us and we will fix it from our side.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

It depends on who took the payment.Bought inside the iPhone or iPad app: Apple bills it — manage or cancel at Apple's subscription settings.Bought inside the Android app: Google bills it — manage or cancel at Google Play's subscription settings.Bought on the web: manage it from the Subscription section of your profile. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

A card's price looks wrong.

Card text and images come from Scryfall, refreshed daily. Prices are TCGplayer's market price in dollars or Cardmarket's trend price in euros — whichever you pick in Settings. They are a guide to what a card is worth, not an offer to buy or sell, and a card that moved today can take until tomorrow to move here.

The scanner will not recognise a card.

Give the app camera permission, then fill the frame with the whole card in even light. Glare is what usually breaks it — angle a foil away from the lamp. Recognition runs on the device rather than in the cloud, so it works without a connection, but a card printed very recently may not be in the index yet. When in doubt, search for the card by name and add it that way.

Is Stackheim affiliated with Wizards of the Coast?

No. Stackheim is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy, and is not approved or endorsed by Wizards. Magic: The Gathering and its properties are © Wizards of the Coast LLC.

04Your account and your data

You can delete your Stackheim account yourself, from the web or from the app, and everything personal goes with it. How account deletion works explains exactly what is removed and how long backups keep a copy.

To exercise any other data right — access, correction, or an export of what we hold — email hello@stackheim.com from the address on the account. What we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy.

05Bugs and ideas

Both go to the same place. A bug report with the four things above usually reaches a release within days; a feature request goes on the list that decides what we build next, and we do read all of them.
